My Rating: 5 Stars!
Reclusive therapist to the stars Ella Lindsey thinks she has it all: peace, quiet, a successful career, and, most importantly, safety. She thinks things are as good as they’re going to get until Hollywood bad boy Nathan Bradley is sentenced to ninety days of therapy at the posh treatment facility. When Nate pushes Ella to her limits, she’s forced to make choices she never thought she would have to make, both personally and professionally. Meanwhile, danger is lurking just outside of the confines of her safe zone.
I was very excited to download my copy of Love Ignited to my Kindle! This is the second book written by Avery Michaels & it’s also the second book in the Hollywood Series. If you haven’t read the first book, Love Reconnected, you need to go get it now! You will thank me for it later.
Both books are similar, with one of the main characters being a Hollywood Star, but they are also very different. Love Ignited took me by surprise! It definitely has some “oh my!” moments & I even blushed a little. If hot & steamy scenes bother you, this may not be the right book for you. If you don’t mind sex scenes, then you are in for a treat! My heart was racing throughout the book, for many different reasons!
When Nathan Bradley arrives at Vestige Estate, Ella’s private treatment center, it didn’t take long for him to push Ella’s buttons. I really despised Nathan at first. I thought he was a jerk and a sexist. I wanted to reach into the book & slap him! How dare he talk to Ella like he did!!!! As time went on, I grew fond of him. I actually wanted to wrap him up in a big hug!
Sometimes we just need someone to push us so we can open up and discover who we really are. I felt like Nathan and Ella did just that. They both pushed each other to their limits. I cringed , I laughed and other times I just felt like crying. Love Ignited captured my heart.
I don’t want to give too much away. I want you to be just as surprised as I was! I would definitely recommend this book over and over again. It was very well written and I never once got bored or felt like the story was moving too slow. It was perfectly paced. I hope you enjoy Love Ignited as much as I did!
Check out Avery Michaels!
